The publication is the result of the analysis carried out by the Future Trends Forum experts. Its starting point is to identify the strategies that will allow to achieve a social and economic organization model under ethical values and sustainable development. This model encourages balanced progress across the world, also known as "smart globalization”. If the "smart globalization" is the objective, social innovation is the method that will help find solutions to global challenges increasingly complex: inefficient health systems, environmental degradation, unemployment, lack of opportunity, illiteracy and insecurity in the coverage of basic needs in the medium term.
