metadata
Authors: Davies, Anna and Simon Julie
Publication date: 2013
Keywords: social innovation, literature review, policies

This purpose of this report is to review the literature relevant to the question of how social innovations spread. Although there is little research explicitly focused on growing social innovations per se, literature that is relevant to the process of growing and spreading social innovations is potentially limitless, covering much of the political and social sciences. This study covers:   ·

  • Literature that examines the concept of ‘scaling up’ and ‘scaling impact’
  • Literature that examines the concept of diffusion of innovation
