Dr. György Pataki, MA in Economics (Corvinus University of Budapest, CUB) and PhD in Management and Organisation Science (CUB), Senior Research Fellow of ESSRG and Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Economics and Technology, CUB, Hungary. He has international research experience in EU-projects in the field of valuation of ecosystem services, biodiversity governance and climate change adaptation policy analysis. He is committed to participatory action research, science-society and science-policy dialogues. He is vice chair for Eastern Europe in the Multidisciplinary Expert Panel of the Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) and a country contact person for the European Society for Ecological Economics. His educational activities are characterized by a service learning and project-based learning pedagogical commitment. He is lecturing on Ecological Economics at master level for students of Human Ecology MA and on Qualitative Research at the Business Administration Doctoral School of CUB and co-teaching an elective master course on Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy for graduates of business administration.
