This award is granted yearly to an organisation or initiative that is a successful example of Social Innovation. The award will be given for the seventh time at the 2017 European Social Innovation Week. Are you the founder of an initiative or are you involved in projects that contribute to Social Innovation? Then apply through the form and get a chance to win the Social Innovation Award 2017! The application deadline is 21st of May.
An expert jury will examine the submissions and will release the names of the finalists in June. The nominated initiatives will hold a pitch to the public on September 29 during the European Social Innovation Week 2017. Therefore, besides the prize from the jury, there will also be a prize of the public.
Anyone can apply for the SIA, whether Dutch or foreigner. The winners of this award will receive a place in the Social Innovation Award Academy. They gather regularly to discuss the developments and context of their initiatives and to find out how to further contribute to the Social Innovation field.
Note to the participants at the European Social Innovation Week: if you organise an activity during the ESIW, this project is not automatically included in the competition for the Social Innovation Award. Do you want a chance at winning the award? Then you must submit your initiative separately.
